About Us

CB Stonemasonry was founded in 2012 by Colin Boffy. Having spent a lot of time in the Stonemasonry trade in the form of training and freelance work, he has mounted over 15 years of experience to this day.

Today, he and his team work on a diverse collection of projects all around the Vale of Glamorgan ranging from fireplaces to kitchen worktops, random stone walls to tiling and everything inbetween. Although all aspects of Stonemasonry are taken on, CB Stonemasonry specialises in:

  • Granite, marble and vanity kitchen worktops
  • Professional tiling
  • Hand carved stone fireplaces and porticos
  • Bespoke garden design including steps and features
  • Private, commercial, listed CADW and new modern projects
  • Fix, supply, carve, polish and dress all types of natural stone
  • Hearths in slate, granite and quartz
  • Window sills if required
  • Stone floors, patios, cobble and granite sets
  • Random pennant/stone walling

Being passionate about the quality of our work and materials, we're excited to visit China and Italy to source and hand pick our stone to ensure we're working with the highest quality of Quartz, Granite, Slate and Limestone.

All of our work is fully insured. We're proud members of The Guild of Master Craftsmen.

Fireplaces

Our beautifully crafted fireplaces, often made for feature walls, can be created from a wide range of stone including marble and brick. As our fireplaces are bespoke built every time, we're sure we can accomodate any sized fireplace in any area of your home.

Tiling

One of our most popular services is tiling. We offer our indoor and outdoor tiling services all year round. Your project can be accomplished using wide range of materials, textures and patterns.

Worktops

With a wide range of materials, styles and standard or fabricated shapes available, kitchen and bathroom worktops equate to the grand majority of our latest projects.

Memorials

The team at CB Stonemasonry are committed to providing an excellent service to all our customers, from your very first contact with us to the final fixing of your memorial. CB Stonemasonry are RQMF registered (Register Of Qualified Memorial Fixers).

We offer a wide range of commemorative stonework, from simple cremation plaques to individually designed headstones and full memorials.

We offer renovation of existing memorials, cleaning and restoring indistinct writing, and adding new lettering to headstones.

Stone Restoration

Although a lot of our work revolves around fireplaces, tiling and kitchen worktops, we are committed to take on all aspects of stonemasonry.

CB Stonemasonry are experts in stone restoration and masonry surfaces on many types of building facade and structures, including difficult and complex ‘mixed surfaces’.
